Muscle Cars of Today and Which One I Would Choose

So I keep seeing commercials for muscle cars such as the Dodge Challenger, Dodge ChargerFord Mustang, and Chevy Camaro. They all seem to be focusing on advertising the horsepower more than usual. This made me think, "If I had to choose between these four cars, which one would I go with?" This post will answer that question.

The Dodge Challenger has three different engine sizes available. They are: 3.5-liter high output V6 with 250 horsepower, 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with 372 horsepower, and 6.1-liter SRT HEMI V8 with 425 horsepower.
The Dodge Charger has four different engine sizes available. The 2.7-liter DOHC V6 with 178 horsepower, the 3.5-liter high output SOHC V6 with 250 horsepower, the 5.7-liter HEMI V8 with 368 horsepower, and the 6.1-liter SRT HEMI V8 with 425 horsepower.
The Ford Mustang has two different engine sizes available. The Mustang V6 has a 3.7-liter Ti-VCT V6 with 305 horsepower. The Mustang GT has a 5.0-liter Ti-VCT V8 with 402 horsepower when using regular fuel and 412 when using premium fuel.
The Chevy Camaro has two different engine sizes available as well. The regular Camaro has a 3.6-liter V6 with 312 horsepower. The Camaro SS has a 6.2-liter V8 with 426 horsepower.

So, as you can see above, when comparing the largest engines for each of these cars, the Chevy Camaro wins by a mere single horse power over the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger. And the Ford Mustang falls behind them all with 14 horse power less than the Camaro. Now, I've test driven the Mustang GT and that thing felt real nice and powerful, so I can only imagine how fun it would be to drive the other three beasts.

The Camaro may win (just barely) as far as power goes, but let's face it, the Camaro's body size makes it an ugly machine. You might as well be driving a boat down the street.
The Challenger looks amazing. The body doesn't look too big or too small. It's got that retro look that brings back some of the aesthetics of the classic Challengers. Simply stated: it looks mean.
The Charger is OK looking. It doesn't look too much like a muscle car and the reason I say that is because it looks too similar to the Dodge Magnum (which is no longer being manufactured), just without the station wagon backing.
The Mustang looks pretty awesome. Like the Challenger, it's body doesn't look to big or too small. And it's got that retro look to it, especially the GT models that have the hood scoop and the back passenger windows have the vertical slates over them (probably the wrong terminology, but oh well) that look a lot more like the classic fastback Mustangs. But it doesn't look like the classic Mustangs as much as the Challenger looks like the classic Challengers.

So with all this said, if I had to choose between these four cars, I'd go with the Challenger. My reasoning being that: Even though I enjoyed driving the Mustang, all the other cars surpass it as far as horsepower goes. Even though the Charger has the same amount of horsepower as the Challenger, it doesn't look that great compared to the Challenger. And I'd be willing to give up one horsepower with the Challenger and not go with the Camaro because I just can't stand how big the body is. It's just too big looking for me and I've heard many people say the same thing. Plus, the Challenger just looks too sick to pass it up.

So the answer to the question of which car out of these four cars would I choose is the Dodge Challenger with the 6.1-liter SRT HEMI V8 with 425 horsepower.

Agree or Disagree with my choice? Let me know.
